Legal
Terms of Service
Last updated: October 21, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Cut the Line ("Cut the Line", "we", "us") for using the Cut the Line app and website to book VIP sections at participating nightclubs ("clubs"). By creating an account or making a booking, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Who can use Cut the Line
- You must be at least 21 years old and able to enter a legal agreement.
- Give accurate information, including your real name as it appears on your ID. Keep your sign-in secure; you're responsible for bookings made from your account.
2. What Cut the Line does
Cut the Line is a booking platform. Clubs list their events, sections, prices and what each section includes, and you book and pay through us. The club runs the venue and the night, including entry, dress code, capacity, service, safety and the packages it offers. We aren't the operator of any club and aren't responsible for a club's conduct, premises or service, although we'll help if something goes wrong with a booking.
3. Booking and payment
- Price: each section shows its price, maximum number of guests and what's included (for example bottles) for that night. Clubs set these and may change them for future bookings; your booking keeps the price and package you paid for.
- Paid in full: you pay the full price when you book. Your booking is confirmed when the payment is approved and the section is still available. If it isn't available, you aren't charged.
- Payment processing: payments are processed by Square on behalf of the club. You authorize the charge for the total shown at checkout, and any upgrade you choose.
- Phone bookings and pay links: if a club texts you a payment link, the section is held only until the link expires. If you don't pay in time, the hold ends and the section may be booked by someone else.
- Party size: your party can't be larger than the section's maximum guests. Every guest must meet the club's entry requirements.
4. Refunds, no-shows and changes
- All sales are final. You get a full refund only if the club cancels the event. Refunds go back to the card you paid with.
- No-shows are not refunded, including arriving after the club has released your section, being refused entry for not meeting the club's entry requirements or these terms, or not bringing valid ID.
- Moves: a club may move your booking to another section that costs the same or less. If the new section costs less, the difference isn't refunded.
- Upgrades: you can upgrade to a section that costs more by paying the difference (through the app or a link the club sends you). If you don't complete the upgrade, you keep your original section.
- Club goodwill refunds: a club may choose to give a partial refund at its discretion. That's up to the club; it doesn't change this policy.
5. ID check and photos
- To book, you add a photo of your government-issued ID and a selfie. Bring the same physical ID to the club.
- At the door, staff compare your ID photo and selfie with you and your physical ID, and may photograph your ID and take a picture of you. If they can't confirm it's you, the club may refuse entry, and that counts as a no-show.
- How we handle these photos, who sees them and when they're deleted is explained in our Privacy Policy.
6. Your ticket
- Your ticket (QR code and ticket code) is for your party only. Don't sell, transfer or copy it. Resold or copied tickets may be cancelled without a refund.
- The person who booked must be present and match the ID on file.
7. Disputed charges
If you have a problem with a booking, please contact the club or us at support@cuttheline.club first, and we'll try to sort it out. If you dispute a charge with your bank for a booking that was used or that this policy doesn't refund, the club may provide booking, check-in and ID records as evidence, and we may close your account.
8. Your conduct
Don't misuse Cut the Line. That includes fake bookings, using someone else's ID or payment card, harassing staff or other guests, scraping the app, or trying to get around its security. Follow the club's rules and the law, including alcohol laws. Clubs and we may refuse service, and we may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
9. Messages
By booking, you agree to receive emails and texts about your bookings (confirmations, pay links, upgrades, changes and cancellations). Message and data rates may apply. Marketing messages are optional; reply STOP to opt out of marketing texts.
10. Availability and changes to the service
We work hard to keep Cut the Line running, but it may sometimes be unavailable or have errors. We may change or improve features. Clubs may change or cancel events; if a club cancels, you'll get a full refund.
11. Disclaimers and limits of liability
Cut the Line is provided "as is" to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, Cut the Line won't be liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for the acts of clubs or other people, and our total liability for any claim about a booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that can't be waived by law.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here with a new date and, for significant changes, let you know in the app or by email. Bookings you've already paid for keep the terms in place when you booked.
